Residents of Jerusalem for 18 years, Ely has dedicated over two decades of service as a National Youth services professional in the Canadian Jewish community, while Edna was born and raised on Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak in the western Negev, where she gained extensive experience in education, organization of cultural events, and in youth work.
To date, Routes Travel has operated Taglit-Birthright Israel groups on behalf of the Canada Israel Experience, the Hillel groups sub-contracted to Young Judaea Hamagshimim, Aish HaTorah, Mayanot and Livnot u'Lehibanot. Recently, the company has been approached to provide services to a fifth organizer.
