How do I register for a FREE amazing trip?
NOTE: Registering on the first day is important as trips fill up quickly! Due to the large amount of applicants, the online system may crash so please keep trying until you manage to finish your registration!
First Time Applicants: Registration opens February 15, 2012 at 10:00AM EST.
Returning Applicants: Registration opens February 14, 2012 at Noon EST.
APPLICATION STEP #1:
Click on the “Click Here To Register” link on this website (or the giant post it note that will be linked to the registration page), to go directly to the online application on Taglit-Birthright Israel’s website.
- Enter your details. Please provide accurate email addresses and phone numbers. Amazing Israel will be using this information to contact you throughout the application process.
- Select Amazing Israel as your trip provider.
- Complete the Taglit-Birthright Israel “Waiver and Agreement.”
- Submit a deposit payment. For more information about this deposit, please visit the Deposit page.
APPLICATION STEP #2:
Submit the fully refundable $250 deposit. You can have it returned to you at any time, but it is highly recommended that you pay it when you register either via credit card or bank transfer. Your application is only considered complete once you submit this deposit, in full.
APPLICATION STEP #3:
Once registration has closed you will hear from Amazing Israel about your application status. Prior to being accepted to an Amazing Israel program you must conduct an interview.
APPLICATION STEP #4:
A) Forms: If you are accepted to an Amazing Israel program, we will send you a medical form. This form MUST be submitted by the deadline that will be set by Amazing Israel. Failure to do so could result in your removal from your trip.
B) You Will also have to send us a copy of the photo page of your passport. Failure to do so could result in your removal from your trip.
ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW?
1) Registration day is crazy! Grab a cup of coffee and a good book and sit in front of your computer. Don’t worry if the registration system crashes — it happens all the time. Please just be patient.
The first day of registration IS NOT first come first serve – so take your time on the opening day. Make sure that you DO apply early though. Our mission is for you to get to Israel – not for you to be on a waitlist!
2) Amazing Israel WILL contact you via email throughout the application process. Sometimes, filters classify our messages as junk mail. Please make sure that your email can accept emails from our main address: amazingisrael@routestravel.com. You should add it now to your safe list! Also, please make sure that you can receive emails from Constant Contact.
3) If you’d like to travel with your brother (or sister, or best friend, or…), let us know! We will send you a form to fill out. Please know that Amazing Israel tries very hard to accommodate friend requests, but can not make any promises.
