Passports

All program participants must have a passport that is valid for at least 7 months from the date of return to the US.  As part of the application process, participants are required to provide a copy of their valid passport through the secondary application or via email (registration@amazingisrael.com).

US Citizens that do not have a passport can click here to begin the process of obtaining one as it can be a lengthy process. Once you’ve been assigned to a trip, you can email us (registration@amazingisrael.com) for a passport expedite letter if necessary.

If a participant passport has been issued from countries other than the United States/Canada, it is the participant’s responsibility to obtain a VISA, if needed, for Israel and any layovers on the way. Some countries will require foreign passport holders to obtain a VISA just for the layover. Anyone who does not have the proper VISA will not be permitted to board the flight at departing airport.

For participant’s that hold Israeli citizenship (either by birth or via a parent with Israeli citizenship) it is very important to contact the Israeli Embassy/Consulate to obtain documents that are essential for travel to and from Israel.

Please note: If a participant does not provide us with a copy of a valid passport by the document submission deadline, the participant will not be permitted to join the program.
